Chocolate ganache cake
- 4 eggs
- 200 g butter
- 600 g dark chocolate - chopped
- 150 g sugar
- 150 g flour
- ½ tsp sea salt
- 220 ml cream
- 4 tbsp EQ Pure Arctic Oil or EQ Pure Vegan Oil
Melt butter on low heat in a small pot. When the butter has melted, turn off the heat and add the chocolate (250 g). Stir until the chocolate has melted. In a new bowl, add the eggs and sugar and stir gently with a whisk for about 10 seconds. Add the melted butter and chocolate over the eggs while you stir gently. Then add the flour a bit at a time while stirring before you, at last, add the sea salt. Put the chocolate cake on a tray in the oven on 200 degrees Celsius for about 10 minutes.
Heat the cream in a small pot until you see the first bubble then turn off the heat and add the chocolate (350 g). Stir until the chocolate has melted. Add EQ Pure Arctic Oil or EQ Pure Vegan Oil and stir gently.
Cut the chocolate cake in pieces and spread the ganache on top. Enjoy!
Tip: For an extra touch you can drizzle liquorice, chopped and fried nuts, sea salt or various dried berries on top of the cake.
