About cookies

Here you will find information about cookies and how we use them on eqology.com. By using www.eqology.com, you agree that we may place cookies in your browser. If you have any questions, please contact customer service.

Cookies is a standard technology that almost all websites use today. A cookie is a small amount of text that is stored by your browser when you visit a website. They can, for example, be used in connection with statistics used to make the websites better, to measure and improve the relevance of advertisements, when you log in to the websites or when you share information in social media.

Most modern browsers (Google Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Internet Explorer, Safari, Opera, etc.) are set to accept cookies automatically, but you can choose to change the settings yourself so that cookies are not accepted. Please note that if you do not accept cookies, this means that many websites will not function optimally.

Net buoys and third-party elements

On Eqology websites and in e-mails from Eqology, web beacons / pixel labels and third-party elements are occasionally used. A web beacon / pixel label is an element, such as a transparent image, that is part of a website or an email. Pixel tags can be used to track activity on websites, activity after seeing an ad, or the time when emails are opened. Below you will find information on what these are used for:

  • Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to analyze user behavior on our websites. This is not traceable back to you as an end user, but shows aggregated figures for everyone who visits us. In this connection, cookies are set, which are delivered by the domain apotek1. These cookies store where you came from to get to our website (search engine, keyword, link, etc.). They also keep track of how many times you have visited our pages with the same browser, so that we can see how many users we have who are visiting for the first time and how many visit our pages more often. In addition, it keeps track of how long you have been on our pages and whether you have visited us before. Google Analytics can also be used in connection with our display of advertisements on other websites by collecting information about who has viewed part of our website and targeting advertisements to these browsers. This is done on an anonymous basis, and we cannot trace it back to you as an end user. Read more at Google. You can opt out of Google Analytics here.

  • Emarsys: Used to generate statistics when sending newsletters by e-mail
